"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
Exodus 22:18
My sister and I were lost in the harsh wilderness when night fell so we took refuge in a nearby cave. I sharpened my arrows while she practiced her skills of the arcane. We rested and departed just before day break. As we approached the surface, we were attacked by a ravage-group of foresworn. We fought as best we could against them, but one of them grabbed my sister as we were retreating. We both had heard of the terrible things a group of foresworn men can do to an attractive lady before deciding they were "done" with her--that was something I could not allow. I drew the bowstring back and prayed for the divines to hear my prayers and that my arrow would fly true and find my sister's heart--a quick death. I released the arrow and fortunately, the divines were listening that day.
The following are statements that were made during the dying breaths of a few of our many victims:
(If you have a story to share, we would love to hear it. Please post it on our Nexus mod page and request that it be submitted to the website. Look forward to hearing it!)

"Getting slaughtered in horrific ways has never been more fun and entertaining while playing Skyrim. ;)"

"HOLYYYYYY CRAP. Tony, I just ran into the biggest and most terrifying "NOPE room" I've ever seen. You know Volskygge? There's a tunnel that has at least one and a half dozen spiders on a vanilla game in that dungeon. With Immersive Creatures, High Level Enemies SIC edition, and Sands of Time Nightmare Preset running together, this becomes a tunnel so filled with GHCS' < Giant Hideous Camel Spiders > that they are LITERALLY stacking on top of each other. The whole corridor was a mess of seething hairy legs and soulless black spider eyes. I did NOT survive that one, tried NOPEing out as fast as I could and Fus Ro Dah-ing them out of my way, but they chased me clean to the end of the dungeon and followed me outside, ( using Follow Me addon ) where I promptly ran into a random dragon attack ( Deadly Dragons Aspect of Alduin ) and the Dragon Priest at the top . Between such a hammer and anvil, I was brutally slaughtered. Adding insult to injury, the dragon drops an ICBM limit break on the area courtesy of Dragon Combat Overhaul just when I thought I had a chance run down the mountainside in one piece. Last thing I saw before the nuke went off was a giant, on-fire spider jumping at my face. The whole time, I was suffering from hallucinogenic spider spit, so taking a screenshot or recording was impossible. Besides, I'd give the arachnophobes nightmares for eternity. I need a NOPE bazooka, a NOPE machine gun and some claymore mines! Sands of Time has officially made Skyrim into a horror survival game.
If you think this story's impressive enough, could you add it to the website? That's the nuttiest, most over-the-top Game Over I've ever had to suffer through. O_o I REALLY hate spiders now, I've been seeing them out of the corner of my eye IRL after that."

"HOOOOOOOLY SPIT O_o
I just experienced the new skeletons with Lich outside dustman's cairn. Skeletons on 5 randomized. It was pretty much the most intense thing ever O_O I was desperately thrashing skeletons left and right... I finally got them down to what looked like almost nothing... so I started getting a few hits in on the lich.... and then it summoned like 10+ skeletons, most of which appeared right around me... and I was just like "...... O_O; oh my." Basically, it seems like the lich looked at what I had set for Max Number Of Spawns Per Cell and said "...yeah... that seems like the right amount of skeletons to summon "
THIS is what a boss fight in this game should be like! You have made skyrim into SKYRIM! ....and made me scared to go back to dustman's cairn to try that again o.o"

Played it a fair amount yesterday and today without any unexpected stability issues - the random encounters are done VERY nicely, and I like the stealth system - basically, its a constant stream of foes if you make too much noise (based on settings I chose) - I had been playing on expert prior, but had to reel it back to adept to handle it (without pulling out my hair, lol). currently its made dungeon crawling more enjoyable - its not something I can just tear through anymore, but at the same time the dynamic repop/spawning keep it from being silly, either.
this mod made me want a basic needs mod, so i could make full use of the sleeping aspect etc
the walking random encounters are abit harsh at times, but then again I'm a light-armored 2-hander, unique handicaps are going to make combat interesting regardless of mods heh. I find I "need" to turn into a werewolf when silverhands jump me, my human mode just doesnt compete.
only somewhat annoying thing that stands out for me is the invisible npcs (or "ghosts") in dungeons - I get why how they work and why, so its not a huge thing - they basically control the flow of the stealth/repop/addintional soawns - or some such.
it just took me off guard at first cause i could SWEAR i heard someone running around in one of the caves I was clearing out but I coulden't' figure out WHERE, lol. Then its ran by an alter and knocked over some stuff in it apparant hurry (or ghostly hissy-fit)
My first impression is a positive one, thank you for the great mod and the hard work put into it.
all in all a solid mod atm for me"

"So i finally took the plunge with this mod, (last nite before the name change) after playing it like a year ago, back when it was buggy and unstable. i even read that the mod gurus thought it needed rebuilding from scratch. i thought then it was a great mod (the sleeping encounters were awesome) but stopped using it.
i recently started over and built a rock solid 200 mod list, but with no spawn mods. game runs flawless. i tried "skyrim more spawns" first, game started crashing. so i thought what the hell, i'll try asis. after finally getting the damn thing to work, my game was a stuttery crashing mess.
to be honest... ive been intimidated by the complexity of this mod, and the size (almost 600mb for a spawn mod? hmmm.... - i also have crappy internet)
seeing that it got fixed gave me some confidence, and here we go!
let me say to anyone scared of trying this, you'll be sorry you didnt. this mod has evolved into straight up badassery. my game runs as smooth as before, and the varied encounters are waaaaaay better than just more spawns. and im astounded by how smoothly it works, and the way i can customize the **** out of it. also love the dungeon rats.
after a couple hours with this, youve got a HUGE endorsement from me. well done. kudos to your perserverance with this mod, its a pleasure to have it surprise the crap outta me and kick my ass in game. Thank you."

"I love you.
There's the jist of my review.
Holy crap, not only does SOT not have ANY impact on the performance of my machine, but it makes the game 1000% more fun, and more immersive for me, as I felt that the most powerful dragonslayer alive should be attacked more. Can't wait to encounter Blade as well.
P.S. Earth Prison is freaking amazing.
P.S.S. FREAKING ARGONIAN SKELETONS!!
VERY well done, good sir, well done. Really lovin' all the customizations in the menu... Also like how SOT encounters/reinforcements come about from vanilla patrols/encounters. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Thank you, sir."

"I purchased DawnGuard just so I could try this mod...and it was seriously worth the purchase.
This mod is awesome."
Tossantull :
"I need to tell you I love this mod! Immersion is better, and combined with rest for the wicked and hunger mod its even better! First time an in screen message told me "a sudden drop in temperature", I in turn almost dropped my laptop when turning around and seeing 3 corrupt shades behind me! :D
Mod endorsed, well earned!"
StayFrosty05 :
"With this mod and another I have,so my Dovahkin is careful about where he sleeps, a few Skyrim nights back he sleeps the night in Madannoch's Redoubt, right at the back of the cave with Madannoch's crew, figuring if anyone attacks he will have Forsworn backup....couldn't ask for better, or so I thought.... ....Three Bandits attack and not a Forsworn in sight!... ....All the Forsworn have taken off down to the other end of the cave cowering....
Hubby just recently decided to play Skyrim himself.....my modded Skyrim....I had warned him about the possibility of being attacked whilst sleeping with your mod, but failed to mention the rest.... ....Lets just say watching him discover other little gems hidden in this mod has been entertaining..... ....the first time he dealt with a chest only to see his girl cartwheeling through the air was classic....also fallen down a few holes, etc....The looks on his face tells me you have a new fan"
jefthereaper:
"i love the chests, first time i did not read the entire description so i was like
OOO a golden chest! *pressing E*, BOOOOOOOM!!! Wow, dead XD
i was shocked, then i laughed (fun thing was i was close to a giant camp and a bandit got knocked up in the air too by the giant, so i bounced against him on the way up, its a shame i did not have the ability to record that moment XD
-hey how did you get here?
-knocked by a giant
-owww, me by a golden chest
-ahhh yeah those, tricky ones,
-yup
-hey you got any health potions?
-im going to be honest, nope, just trying to land in that lake over there
-... (just so you know, we both missed the lake and landed on sharp rocks instead XD)"

"The sleep animation really does add to the reality side of game-play. This combined with a 'need's' mod, is marvelous. For example my Dragonborn battle mage was clearing out fort dunstad (??) when thinking it done she retreated to the little on-site tavern had a drink of wine and curled up in the bed on the top floor. In the middle of the night 2 more bandits spawned and attacked, leaving her trying to get up and get her sword, shield and magic ready. Really immersive!"

"I was about to greet the Khajiit (who oddly enough, reminds me of Puss in boots from Shrek.) at the Shrine to Peryite. Before I could cuddle the cute puddy tat, Bane and one of his lackeys decided to ambush me and Cerwiden for the lulz. His minion was easily dealt with but Bane had a bottomless bottle of redbull.. If Ceri wasn't there to give me morphine from time to time, I would've lost that battle in less than a minute.. She saved my hide more than once during that almost never-ending ordeal. I owe her big time. When the elite werewolf hunter was finally slain, I removed my helmet, savored the sweet smell of victory. I then turned around to see Cerwiden, bloodied and weakened but still alive. All of a sudden, a dark figure carrying a huge-ass red sword appeared behind my companion and chopped her pretty little head off . Shocked, I shouted the most dramatic IRL "NNNNOOOOOOO" in gaming history. To avenge her death, I rushed towards the mysterious killer. Before I could even raise my gigantic war hammer (I guess we're both compensating for a "little" something by using humongous weapons) to strike him, He pulled out yet another over-sized weapon, a Daedric crossbow. That was the time I realized that I was finally meeting Blade, the new vampire hunter in town, and Bane's brother. It was too late to remember that I've taken my helmet off. His Daedric bolt pierced my skull and sent me falling off a cliff. While I plummet to my death, I couldn't help but wonder what M.Night Shamalamalayan film this twist was stolen from.
WTF Tony?!!! You didn't have to make it that hard, man."

"Okay...
So I was walking along the road with my new wife en route to our OSUM home I built with much blood, sweat, and tears when 3 bandits try to rob us. Hey no biggie. So I unsheathe my blade when all of a sudden a HUGE DRAGON just lands right behind the bandit in front of me. Like 0 warning. So I slowly back up, my wife freaks out and the bandit says "huh...?" as he slowly turns around just before the dragon bites him in half. Now the 2 bandits are attacking the dragon and I am telling my wife to run away. Well she runs into the woods and a bear starts chasing her. Looking over my shoulder I notice the bandits are keeping the dragon busy (for the moment) so I run run run like hell to engage the bear.
Well just as I slay the bear a Deadly Dragons EVENT kicks in and I have 2 dragons circling over my head like a pair of hungry vultures. Now I'm worried. Well 1 flies off north and seems to want to do stuff that way while the other one makes air passes and breath attacks while the wounded dragon on the ground and I duel things out in melee...ever jumping around and making sure my wife isn't being nibbled on my spiders.
So then ANOTHER SoT encounter gets triggered while I have 2 dragons on me. A freaking Death Mage!!! But he's attacking me and the dragons. After a very long and hard battle I finally defeat everything, collect my loot with like 5 HP left. I hobble over to my wife in the woods, step in a bear trap and die.
BEST MOD TO PAIR WITH DEADLY DRAGONS EVER!!! I had sooooo much fun ^_^ Please please please keep up your awesome work Tony! "
