SoT doesn't just add awesome encounters and increased spawns. It comes packaged with other features as well! It adds mini games to entertain you and additional friendly NPCs to aid you. Because, you are seriously going to need the help.

All Major SOT Encounters are potentially unleveled if you so choose! This includes Surface Encounters, Dungeon Encounters, and Waiting Encounters. (Look at MCM option under Tactical.) This is designed to keep you guessing what you'll be facing when encountering enemy npcs--anything goes. This DOES NOT change a Draugr into a Draugr Lord, lets make that clear. This will allow changing a particular NPC's Health, Magica, and Stamina as calculated against the Dovahkin's numbers. The range is from 30% of Dovahkin's numbers to 1000% percent (10 times more than players value).

It may take a little time getting used to the SoT mod and familiarizing yourself with the MCM menu.
To help counter this, we do not throw someone in the deepend--so to speak. We prefer to let them dip their toes in the water first and then make decisions based from there. Until reaching the "graduation" level (of level 15), the mod will function in a "light" mode to get you accustomed to how it works, and what all it has to offer.

Going with the above, we also assist the player health wise. We do not make you invincible by any means, but we do make you harder to kill by giving health boosts while in battle. This of course, can be disabled and will automatically disable after reaching the graduation level.

1. Some NPCS drop trapped treasure chests.

The chests range from Copper to Diamond. You can try to disarm them with traditional lock-picks or with your Thieving level. The higher the level the better the chance of opening the chest. This is based on the Might and Magic games (oh so long ago).

See this feature in action!

2. Baby Dragon Eggs

If you find any dragon eggs take them outside and use mage fire on them. They will hatch. Give them some food, and they will be your friend.

3. Enhanced Immersive Stealth Play

If you set the level at which the Dovahkin raises the general alarm to anything but zero, you can try to sneak into the enemy camp and if you are not detected will avoid reinforcements. However, once they see you the maximum number of times allowed reinforcements for the enemy will arrive.

Lore lovers, the toggles are for you and easily accessible with an extensive MCM menu. There is even a Lore toggle to turn off most non-lore items in one shot. This would include treasure chests, young people, some bosses, and others. There are also toggles to customize the frequency of encounters, how strong some bosses are, how much mandatory (recharge) time between encounters, where encounters take place, whether encounters take place only at night, spawn notifications, etc etc. All new armors and weapons can also be toggled off.

For surface Walking Encounters, there is a "Wimp" toggle to allow low level players to select the level at which standard tough SoT encounters are allowed. Weak versions of the encounters are provided until then. Think of it as training wheels for the player.

All-in-all, there is practically a toggle for each and every feature to ensure that you get exactly what you want.
Think of the MCM as the Dungeon Master in a classic RPG game, and you have direct control over him.
